Prefabrication and delivery of structural alloyed steel for the ARGE Consortium established by Hamburg city, Alstom, Siemens, Bautec and Kaefer. (3km subway under Elbe River in Hamburg Germany).

SCOPE OF WORKS:

• Prefabrication of a structures 11m x 2m overall dimensions (thin-walled alloy steel).
• Logistic – coordination of materials and structures delivery in the “just in time” system.
• Ready-made products were brought into the tunnel and installed directly from the lorries.
• So called “inward processing” customs clearance proceedings were applied successively.
